Lloyd Woddard Ready for Semi-Final at Bellator 66

Coming off a huge quarterfinal win in Bellator’s lightweight tournament; Missoula’s Lloyd Woodard is ready to once again make the fans believers.

Woodard upset Patricky Pitbull with a submission win at Bellator 62, after completing a kimura that injured the Brazilian fighter. He opening many eyes to Montana MMA and did his team The Dogpound proud.

This time, he needs to defeat fellow 12-1 fighter Rick Hawn. Hawn competed on the 2004 Olympic Judo team, and is coming off a first round KO win in his quarterfinal bout. Woodard (154.5) and Hawn (155) both made weight.

The winner of the bout will face the winner of Brent Weedman and Thiago Michel in the other semi-final in the tournament championship May 18 in Lake Charles, LA.

Both semi-finals will air Friday night at 6 p.m. mountain time on MTV 2 and will also stream live on Spike.com.
